COVID-19 vaccines available to everyone ages 12 and older


Children need protection from COVID-19 for their health and the health of family and friends. Now that the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine is available to kids 12-years old and up, getting the vaccine is the best thing to do for your child's health. The vaccine is free and safe.

ATTENTION Patients with Medicaid Insurance


Medicaid Managed Care transformation efforts have started. Standard Plans are scheduled to go live July 1, 2021.  NC Medicaid Managed Care open enrollment is underway. Beneficiaries have until May 14, 2021 to select a Health Plan and a Primary Care Provider that best suit their families' needs. Click here for additional information.

  • Open first and third Saturday of the month from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Dr. Maria Castro graduated from Nueva Granada University in Colombia in 1996. She and her husband moved to the United States in 2000, where she completed her Residency in Pediatrics at the Long Island College Hospital/Beth Israel Hospital Program in New York.
